Jessica Lamb Therapy Room

SEX THERAPY

In Sex Therapy, I offer a non-judgmental, open space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

  • This is a place where we can talk openly about anything impacting your sex life, including issues around sexual functioning, confidence, self-esteem, relationships, and more.

  • Together, we can explore how past experiences may be influencing your current challenges, and work to understand patterns in thinking and behaviour that may be holding you back.

  • My goal is to support you in developing greater self-understanding, improving your relationship with yourself and others, and moving toward a more fulfilling and empowered sexual life.

Erection Difficulties

Increase your confidence in sexual situations, and experience more reliable erections.

Many men experience difficulties with gaining and maintaining erections and there are many reasons as to why this happens. In therapy we will uncover psychological blocks and help you feel more confident.

Ejactulation Issues

Both delayed and premature/early ejaculation are common amongst men. I've found that for most, there is an incident or incidents that has happened, and has stayed with you and reinforced these behaviours. In therapy, we break this down, understand what happened and move towrards a more confident sexual identity.

Painful Penetration

Difficulties such as Vaginismus, Vulvadynia and Dyspareunia can cause both physical and psychological pain.

Having worked with many women who struggle with these, I understand the emotions attached and will help you work towards more pleasurable, less painful and more confident sexual experiences.

Issues with Orgasm

Issues with reaching orgasm can happen for all genders and this often comes with shame, frustration and guilt. In therapy we think about what might be blocking you and what could be holding you back.

Low Desire / Low Libido

Working with low libido and low sexual desire consists of thinking about what your goals are. Do you desire, desire?

In therapy we unpack what it is that you want and explore how to increase your libido.

Compulsive Sexual Behaviour

Whether this is with watching and consuming pornography or partnered sex or solo sex, we can work to understanding the root of these concerns and work to managing them in a way you're more comfortable with. As well as reducing the shame and guilt that often comes with Compulsive Sexual Behaviour.
